As of December 12, 2024, Suptech Technology has successfully completed the acquisition of the polypropylene (PP) composite materials and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) business of Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sumitomo Chemical”) in China, and completed the handover of the factories located in Zhuhai and Dalian.

Since its establishment six years ago, Suptech Technology has achieved rapid and high-quality development. Its business scope has expanded nationwide and successfully into overseas markets. It primarily provides material innovation services to well-known automotive brands such as Nissan, Toyota, BMW, and BYD, as well as various industries including electronics, electrical engineering, and communications.
This acquisition covers Sumitomo Chemical’s existing three major business areas: automotive interior and exterior materials, home appliance materials, and automotive airbag and sealing materials.
