What Can Eight Years Change?

Since its founding in 2018, Suptech Technology has completed a transformative leap in just eight years: rising to become a national-level specialized, refined, special and new “Little Giant” enterprise, establishing in-depth partnerships with leading automakers including BMW, BYD, Toyota, and Honda, and building a national intelligent manufacturing footprint. Today, we step into this leading new materials enterprise based in Huadu, Guangzhou, to deeply decode its rise—from core technologies and smart factories to green low-carbon practices and global vision.

💡Highlights of This Issue

Eight years to become a “Little Giant”: Suptech Technology’s four core competencies

How Level 4 smart factories set a new benchmark for intelligent manufacturing

Green closed-loop: cross-sector collaboration from waste recycling to new automotive materials

01 // The Rapidly Growing “Suptech Solution”

Underpinning its eight-year leapfrog development is Suptech Technology’s systematic capabilities in four dimensions: technology, industry integration, intelligent manufacturing, and customer partnerships.

Technology-Driven: Building High Barriers

The company operates a four-in-one R&D system: material development, process development, simulation, and application analysis. It is supported by innovation platforms including a Doctoral Workstation, Guangdong Engineering Plastics Engineering Technology Research Center, and CNAS-accredited laboratory.

Among only six A+‑rated materials schools nationwide, Suptech Technology has established deep cooperation with three to jointly build an AI+Materials R&D platform, driving closed-loop R&D of “data–algorithm–experiment”.

To date, the company has applied for 65 patents and led the formulation of more than 20 national and industrial standards.

Industrial Integration: Connecting Upstream and Downstream

  • Wholly acquired the PP composite and TPE business of Sumitomo Chemical (Japan) in China
  • Established joint ventures for PCR (post-consumer recycled) material recycling
  • Obtained a controlling stake in Yueke Automation, an intelligent manufacturing firm

These moves rapidly expanded production capacity, accumulated advanced technologies, and maintained leading intelligent manufacturing capabilities.

Intelligent Manufacturing Empowerment: Pursuing Efficiency Through Digitalization

The headquarters base is constructed in accordance with the national Level 4 Intelligent Manufacturing Capability Maturity standard, fully deploying an AI R&D platform and full-process quality monitoring systems to realize automated production, intelligent management, and full quality traceability.

Customer Alignment: Focusing on Cutting-Edge Demand

The company has forged in-depth ties with top clients including BMW, BYD, Nissan, Toyota, and Honda. Acquisitions have accelerated certification cycles and quickly unlocked supply chain access.

02 // Level 4 Smart Factory Launched: Upgrading from “Manufacturing” to “Intelligent Manufacturing”

In late 2025, Suptech Technology’s smart factory at its Guangzhou headquarters officially went into production, marking a milestone for both capacity expansion and intelligent manufacturing upgrading.
This factory integrates automated operation, intelligent management, green production, and low-carbon energy use. Intelligent algorithms optimize resource allocation, significantly improving efficiency and reducing defect rates. A full-chain traceability system covering design, manufacturing, and logistics enables complete tracking of key data from raw materials to finished products.

National Production Capacity Layout

  • 5 production bases currently in operation
  • Annual capacity: 300,000 tons
  • Long-term plan: expand to 500,000 tons (East China base)

03 // Pioneer in Dual Carbon Goals: Substantial Breakthroughs in Green Materials and Closed-Loop Circulation

Against the global push for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, Suptech Technology has built solid, tangible capabilities in green low-carbon and circular materials.
  • Jointly established Chongqing Suptech with Chongqing Zhongtian, a leading home appliance recycling enterprise, to create a benchmark “home appliance-to-home appliance” closed-loop project
  • Built a full closed-loop system: waste plastic recycling → dismantling → washing → pelletizing → modified application
  • Focused on mechanical recycling while developing technical reserves for dissolution and chemical recycling
  • Adopted LCA (life cycle assessment) to provide customers with carbon footprint calculation services

Four Green Solutions for Automakers

Low-carbon material substitution: materials for bumpers, grilles, brackets, and other components with 10%–50% PCR content

Lightweighting: plastic‑for‑steel, olefinization, and bio-based materials to reduce vehicle weight and carbon emissions

Full-life-cycle carbon management: support OEMs in meeting green access requirements of the EU, Japan, and other international markets

Traceable green supply chain: full-process data sharing from recycling to application to support OEM ESG reporting and carbon trading preparation
