At this auto show, Suptech Technology co-exhibits with China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (CAERI). Joining forces, the two sides showcase cutting-edge achievements in automotive materials, testing and verification. The booth draws wide attention from leaders and experts of industry associations, automakers and research institutions, as well as numerous professional media and visitors at home and abroad.

Three flagship exhibits at the booth drew widespread attention: spray-free lower trim panel for rear bumper, spray-free DAB airbag cover and TPE instrument panel skin. They fully present Suptech Technology’s latest breakthroughs in spray-free decorative solutions, integrated safety functions and eco-friendly recyclable materials.

Many executives from automotive manufacturers and journalists spoke highly of the products’ excellent properties including high gloss, scratch resistance and low VOC. The on-site technical exchanges were in full swing. An industry leader commented after the visit: “Suptech Technology’s exploration into AI-enabled materials and green closed-loop systems has set an excellent example for industrial chain collaboration in carbon reduction.”

On the morning of the 25th, Zhang Zhenhao, Deputy Director of the Marketing Center at Suptech Technology, was interviewed by Xinhua Finance. He shared the company’s ideas and practices regarding AI-powered manufacturing, eco-friendly low-carbon materials and global layout.

It maintains long-term partnerships with top-tier automakers including BMW, BYD, Nissan, Toyota and Honda.

Currently, Suptech Technology has developed six major business segments: automotive materials, new energy materials, eco-friendly aesthetic materials, high-end TPE elastomers, green low-carbon materials and next-generation intelligent materials. Its products are widely applied in automobiles, electrical engineering, electronic appliances, communications, new energy and other sectors.

Strong R&D Strength: Partnership with Half of China’s A+ Rated Materials Schools

Suptech runs a Doctoral Workstation, the Guangdong Engineering Plastics Engineering Technology Research Center, a CNAS-accredited laboratory and multiple joint laboratories. An Academician Workstation is also under preparation.
Notably, there are only six A+ rated materials schools across China, and Suptech has established cooperation with three of them. The parties jointly build R&D platforms for AI-enabled materials to facilitate a closed-loop R&D model integrating data, algorithms and experiments. To date, the company has obtained 65 patents and led the formulation of more than 20 national and industrial standards.
“Our goal is to set up no less than four AI material R&D platforms, enabling artificial intelligence to fully empower material design and intelligent manufacturing,” said Mr. Zhang.
